A Little Bit Natural. A Lot Creative.
Natural Details is a small family business built around something we've always enjoyed—creating things with our own hands.
My interest in herbs goes back many years. Along the way, I've had the opportunity to meet and learn
from Master Herbalists, and that knowledge helped deepen my interest in the oils and herbs we use today.
Creating the formulas is still one of my favorite parts.
I probably look a little like a mad scientist while I'm measuring, mixing, and “brewing” a formula. But
there is something pretty special about taking individual ingredients, bringing them together, and
creating a finished product.
Of course, one of the best parts comes later—when a customer tells us how much they enjoy what we've made.
And there's another little bonus: My house smells amazing after making a batch!
Then There's the Workshop...
Natural Details has another side to it.
My husband discovered a talent for woodworking and creates birdhouses, live-edge bookends, boxes, and other pieces from wood in his shop.
I've been sewing and crocheting for as long as I can remember. These days you'll find me creating sensory and boho-style bags, working with reclaimed fabrics, matching patterns and trims, and seeing what I can turn into something new.
My ideas don't necessarily arrive during normal business hours, either. Sometimes one hits me in the middle of the night—and then I already know what I'll be doing the next day. Cutting patterns. Matching fabrics and trim. And running my sewing machine at just about any hour of the day or night.
