Where Ideas Become Something You Can Hold
Our workshop is where the other side of Natural Details comes to life.
It's a place for wood, fabric, yarn, tools, sewing machines—and whatever new idea happens to find its way through the door. Some become handmade wood and fabric creations, while others become something entirely unexpected.
Some of what we create begins with something that already had a life. We enjoy working with reclaimed wood, recycled fabrics, and other materials whenever they fit the project. Other pieces begin with new materials.
Either way, we like taking what we have in front of us and asking: “What can we make with this?”
Wood, Fabric & A Little Imagination
On one side of the workshop, you'll find birdhouses, boxes, live-edge bookends, and other wood creations taking shape.
On the other, there may be fabric spread across the table, patterns being cut, trims being matched, or a sewing machine running while sensory and boho-style bags come together.
Our sensory bags have a little extra purpose behind them.
They're created for anyone who enjoys—or may simply need—something interesting and comforting to touch during a stressful, uncomfortable, or quiet moment. Different fabrics, textures, trims, and details give wandering fingers something to explore.
Sometimes it's the little details that make something special.
You Never Know What's Coming Next
We don't have a catalog that tells us what we're supposed to create next.
Ideas have a habit of showing up when they feel like it.
A piece of wood may suggest one thing. An interesting fabric may suggest another. And sometimes an idea simply appears in the middle of the night.
That's part of the fun.
So what's in our workshop today may not be what's there tomorrow.
